I think its positive that we all are not the same sort of home decor folks. I'd hate to meet you all on some dark alley to fight over a bucket or early 20th century bricks. That would suck balls.
The latest episode in my battle to restore old shit tried to kill my soul tho. Apparently there are only a handful of brick layers that do those 19th century fireplaces I obsessed all spring over. After seeing their prices, especially for a job of building two of them, we built them ourselves.
Trust me, hiring someone to do your shit is the only recommendation I will give to anyone from this day on. Even by my standards, this project was too insane.
