My guess (and that's all it is) is that we'll see a base price of $50k, but most customers will be pushing $58k by the time they get finished checking boxes.
A base 328i starts at $36.5k and the M3 starts at $55k.
A base 128i starts at $29.5k so if we add $20k to it we'd be just under $50k If we add 50% to it (which is pretty close to the premium the M3 gets over the 328i) we'd be looking at $45k. My gut feeling is that the $50k number is close to reality.
