Strictly speaking, alright, perhaps. But it would mean a huge delay in the product's arrival, and given how much they will already have invested into the G42, it really is all but 100% certain that they'll follow through and bring it to market.

The opposite, actually. There's absolutely no chance at this point for a four-door counterpart to the G42. That ship sailed long, long ago. Per above, there's technically a tiny (microscopic, really) chance for a two-door counterpart to the F44 to take the place of the would-be G42. But like I say, that simply makes no sense - it would be insane for them to switch course and do that at this point.
