Macan is a great car, much better than X2 which I sat in but did not drive. I have driven the X1 for a few days and hated it. The first gen Cayenne is a maintenance nightmare, second gen comparatively bullet proof. Check out the new X3 M40 or whatever the hell it is.
If you want drivers car at that price point the Macan S is best from what you listed from the SUV / CUV camp. If you want cheap fun the first gen X1 xDrive35 with the big engine is a blast. You can get a really nice certified one for $25K-ish, have warranty and maintenance through 100K and take it to Dinan and turn it into a rocket ship.
