It's always funny listening to people complain about front license plates. When it's the law, put the front plate on. Its not that hard to grasp. It gets even more funny when the car in question is a German car where front plates are mandatory.
Just put the front plate on and go about your business. The plate neither adds nor takes away from the beauty of the E90. The hassle of getting a ticket for the "I'm above the law" thinking isnt worth it either...
If people can find ways of putting the plate on the car without drilling, go for it. But put the freakin plate on the car if that is the law in an individual's state.
