So in the future, any car that juts into an area of grass, has to let everyone else go by? I don’t think so.
There is no advantage for an F1 car to drive on the grass.
Hamilton couldn’t out qualify him, couldn’t pass him early, or even with Vettel exiting on the grass.
The Stewards judgment was (and is) inconsistent.
If they felt (which was a split decision) that there was an advantage, they should have ordered Vettel to let Hamilton pass and allow a competition.
