Just to chime in on the parts coming from around the world, remember the Takata airbag recall?
Having said that, BMW Quality control / quality assurance outside Germany/Austria does concern me... but I imagine smarter minds than mine at BMW also saw that coming and have figured out a corporate build culture that makes it just as good. Just my guess, I don't know.
