The OEM keys are pretty easily identifiable, they have a tiny grub screw on the rear, down in the bottom right or left of the key - the knock offs dont.
But yes, we'd need some kind of gentlemen's agreement that we'd get OEM keys - especially if we are paying a couple hundred bucks!
