No, you got it right that I haven't heard Marko or Horner about it.
Haven't read in a single article them saying needing the WCC prize money.....
What I
have read is that they're working really really hard and doing everything to get Max the WDC.....
Yet the FIA doesn't give any prize money for that... funny eh?
From this I conclude that they'd rather have Max winning the WDC. Apparently more important than that last bit of FIA prize money for winning WCC instead of 2nd or so.
And I'm not saying they don't care about money. But money can come from lots of other sources than the FIA prize money columns.
