Anything that has buttery or softer notes. Highland single malts are probably your best bet, I imagine.

For a low cost option - try a Glemorangie 10yr. If you want something excellent, for a bit more, maybe the Dalmore 12yr. First one is about $35 a bottle, the second about $70 a bottle.

Both are mellow and not at all peaty or smoky that that terrible Islay Laphroaig. That shit is like drinking tobacco spit.
