Don't forget BMW have also just announced that their electrification plans have been sped up so the announced at least 25 electrified models in teh product portfolio will be available two years earlier than previously announced: by the end 2023 instead by the end of 2025.

And more than half of the models will be BEVs - so 13 at least BEVs in the BMW Group portfolio by the end of 2023. Currently there's just one: the BMW i3. MINI SE on the way in 2019, iX3 in 2020, iNext and i4 in 2021. So at least another 8 BEV models then in the next 2 years - in 2022 and 2023. That's BEV galore!

And be sure a "Power BEV" model will be among them - but not necessary in 5er Sedan form. As well as a model with "Power PHEV" powertrain as showcased in BMW Vision M Next - but not necessary as a supercar.

And they have also announced the expectation of electrified vehicles annual sales growth of +30% in average by 2025. Meaning BMW Group will hit the annual sales of BEVs and PHEVs of approx 1 million units by 2025.
