Fair question, but if I were a betting man, I'd say the manual will only be available on the base model. I think BMW likes the faster acceleration times from the auto with the Competitions. And, arguably, it is better for lap times. |
My guess is that the competition will have the M3 base engine which is available with the 6MT. |
That's what I'm hoping for. That way I can get the extra power from the factory and won't have to individually option a lot of the things that would come with the comp. Oh well, we'll wait and see but I really am not expecting the manual to be offered on the comp given how things are trending
