dude idk, its generally good practice to not be in your car when it's being pumped
in turkey you have attendants because unemployment through the roof but even there i step out and wait until it's ready to go

You've got me curious as to why it's "good practice" to not be in your car when filling up.
I can't think of a single reason myself, and I've never seen any nj news stories where there was a problem with a person inside their car (with bmws, if you lock from the inside, the fuel filler door stays unlocked ) while getting gas.
I'd much rather have my daughter sitting locked in her car getting gas from an attendant than to be on display out of her car pumping her own.
