Are you sure they aren't under the elbow rest. They were in mine. there should be two neoprene sleeves below the metal frame (sharp edges), you can fish them out with a bent coat hanger.
One has 3 pins for the power and the other has 6 pins for the can-bus system.
If you already have a multi cd palyer in the elbow rest you will obviously have to remove it, you can't have both.
