Yes, it all depends on the
kinds of games you play, even within 1440P resolution. For example, I literally doubled my frames going from my old 3080 to the new 4090 in MS Flight Simulator - and this is even
without turning on DLSS 3!
Again though, the 4090 is literally a game changer in VR, especially driving headsets like my HP Reverb G2, or a Pimax 8K for example.
