Strong suspicion that the teams and promotor are out for blood after his comments of the valuation of the sport looked almost insider trading esk apparently. The are of the view that he has overstepped the mark and needs to go.

This could be to plicate the teams in the short term but I'd be interested to see how long he lasts, like it or not F1 is a big part of motorsport and mess that up as the head of FIA and its not going to go down well.
