I camped out at a local Micro Center to get my 4090. Was entertaining to chat with the few guys that were out there a few hours early. Luckily, all people in line (about 25-30) got a card. I wondered if there was a point of camping out because there was a rumor of high availability and that Nvidia was stocking them in warehouses to try and sell more of the 30 series. Looks like camping was a good idea if I wanted one on launch.
It is concerning that both the 450w rated cable (3x8pin adapter) and 600w (4x8pin adapter) are burning up alongside the native ATX 3.0 PSU cables. Something is definitely off. I love how Jay from Jayz2Cents was mocked by providers and here we are LOL
