At first I thought maybe it might have been due to sub-par manufacturing of the cable itself shipped with the graphics cards, but now OEM ATX 3.0 PSU cables are beginning to show signs of melting as well.
A symptom of having to bend them too much to fit in cases....? Or too much power going through small pins? Not sure. It won't be my problem any time soon; even if I wanted to venture out and buy one, it's sold out everywhere.
