[TT1351]

Had my windshield replaced a while back, the installer installed a new trim gasket that fills in the void around the windshield, however its not centered, which kind of bugs me. I have a replacement piece waiting to go on but before I go for it, any hints, pros or cons regarding the install. I watched him take off the old one and said that you can't reuse it, he just kind of ripped it out, there is a small u-shaped clip that attaches to the side and top of the windshield. Thanks in advance. (BTW I am somewhat mechanically inclined, just don't want to mess it up)
