I recently sold my car on eBay to a buyer in CA. I'm in NJ. It is a legit sale and the buyer will be wire transfering the amount to my bank. My question is what exactly do I need to do to complete this sale before the auto transport comes? I have the title in hand.

Do I need to go to the DMV and fill out a title transfer ? Does the buyer also have to do the same at their local DMV in CA? Is the eBay invoice good enough to be used as the bill of sale?

I'm a bit confused as I thought I did this many years ago and I just signed the title over to the buyer.

Any help would be appreciated!
