And it's nice to be 44 and pass a bunch of younger weekend warriors in the hills and obstacles...not that I'm overly fast or athletic, but I can run the whole distance and do all the obstacles (I do fail some on occasion). And I enjoy a cold beer afterwards, plus lots to look at while at the event. If you are older hit obstacles cautiously so you don't injure yourself, as I see piles of folks get injured.
