I do Spartans, started 3 years ago. Started with 6 months of training for the 5km (after 15 years of a desk job and 1000's of beers). then next year did my trifecta, that's a 5km (sprint), 12 km(super) and 25km(beast) in a single season. The trifecta was a stretch for my 44 year old body, now I'll just stick to the Sprints and Supers as they are fun.
Gives me a reason to continue going to the gym. Plus bonus is I'm 30lbs lighter.
