I would have to disagree. I think F1 is both driver and engineering. I appreciate the aerodynamics and precision engineering as well as the skill of a driver. If a team pushes their power unit to the brink with reliability issues, that's an engineering risk. Much like how if you put the fastest driver in a shitty car, they will never be a champion.
