I'm not advocating that at all, nor did I even come close to implying it. If you carry a loan and don't pay your property taxes, the government will take your home.

I'm fine with paying property taxes and understand much of it goes to education in my school district. But that has nothing to do with what I'm saying.

My point is if someone can legally take something from you because you didn't pay for "X" regardless of what that "X" is, you don't really own it.
