The office employees and managers at work all have stockings hung on their mailboxes in the main hallway. Rather than buy candy and/or small gifts for them, because I can't stand 90% of them, I have been taking candy out of other peoples stockings, including my own, and re-gifting other peoples candy for them. People keep seeing me put candy in stockings not knowing it's theirs and telling me how sweet I am for filling stockings.
The lesson here is perception > truth.
