Considering how we are 10 years away from 2012, and 10 years away from 2032, these are my predictions for the world as a whole:

1. The Ukraine War will be over, but only recently. A ceasefire will have been reached most likely by the end of the 2020s, with Russia having taken control of some fringe regions in Eastern Ukraine.

2. Petrol and diesel will cost about 20-30 percent more than today.

3. There will be no more iPhone, instead, Apple is going to enter the realm of biohacking and sell a form of augmented reality contact lenses.

4. Politics around the world are going to get a LOT more polarized than they already are. The EU is going to face an existential crisis due to the rise of the far-right in countries like Poland and Hungary, and the US is going to become a lot more unstable. Progressive politics will become a lot more popular, as they already are becoming, but as a result, there will be an even uglier, more despotic reaction from the fascists.

5. Electric cars will be a lot more common in developed countries, and renewable energy will innovate at an unprecedented rate. Unfortunately, connected cars and overzealous governments are going to kill the driving experience, and people are going to be boiled like a frog in water.

6. Housing unaffordability will become the norm everywhere.
