ynguldyn, the G87 M2 is expected to be produced till July 2029:
- in August 2024 the G87 M2 is expected to get a 15ps power bump (475ps replacing the current 460ps), some cosmetic changes (including new wheel options) and new colors (likely Skyscraper Gray, Mineral Red, Portimão Blue, and Sao Paulo Yellow);
- in April 2025 the G42 2er and G87 M2 are expected to get a 'facelift' ('Life Cycle Impulse'); production till July 2029;
- variant: from August 2025 till July 2026 the G87 M2 CS is expected to be produced; expected to feature CS/CSL wheels, CF roof, bucket seats and alcantara steering wheel as standard features; automatic transmission only (no manual transmission option).

The length of the G87 M2 is the same as the one of the E90 M3: 4m58. No longer a "small" car.
