I always wonder if the Consumer Reports rankings provide an accurate picture since their sample size is restricted to their subscribers.
I am glad that they at a minimum weigh the severity of various issues and assign a score to make it more accurate. If I'm not mistaken, JD Powers rankings may be skewed since they look at "problems per vehicle", where a problem is either an infotainment software issue or a major mechanical issue. That is one of the reasons Lexus dropped several places on the JD Powers rankings due to their terrible infotainment software. But we all know the reality when it comes to their mechanical bits, it will go on forever.
