Yes it seems that BOT now taking the penalty for a new PU might have been a tactical error.
OF course he got 3 points from the sprint race, but that only helps him and mercs WCC but not HAM.
If BOT had started from pole tomorrow, he could have held up the field so giving HAM more chance to overtake the mercs.
Now they have to think something up with undercut pitstops etc, but that is not MERC's specialty. Tactics wise they are a very weak team. They make a lot of mistakes.
