Also, we must be careful not to overweight the argument that because a certain car has less accidents than another it is overall safer and better for the public. This has been the Tesla argument for less regulation of autonomous tech since the beginning. There are other factors to consider.

That's why I don't worry about the 737max issue. Two flights out of millions of flights turned bad.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
