I lost a 10mm socket behind the motor when changing valve cover gaskets and an air filter cover screw in front of the air box when cleaning the filter. Neither were visible and I did not take apart stuff looking. It just was not worthwhile. If I dropped a screwdriver into the accessory belt drive or an nut down an empty spark plug hole or a greasy rag onto the headers, I would definitely get it.
