Welcome to Texas! We have an amazing car culture here. I'm in Houston and while not overly familiar with Dallas I do know they have great car culture there and the roads are not nearly as crummy as the ones down here. As far as good back roads or courses, there is MSR Cresson which is near Dallas, and then of course COTA in Austin, as well as Harris Hill raceway in San Marcos and MSR Houston. Back roads is definitely hill country territory, where you will fine some nice ones. Not sure about Dallas area but I am sure you can find some there. Cheers and good luck!
