Retirement is great. When I was still on the job I had a countdown clock on my phone and computer. I couldn't wait to get there, the grind and the bullshit takes its toll. I don't miss that and I am reminded daily by the aches and pains of how demanding the job can be. I miss the men and women I worked with, and the thrill of the job. It can be incredibly rewarding and profoundly challenging, painful, frustrating and heart breaking.
And before you know the ride is over and you're retired. Be safe brother.
