Yep, they are pricey new. Same with go-karts.
I've built a few for friends who have kids and you can find really good condition used ones for decent prices on facebook marketplace, craigslist, offerup, etc. The last one I bought was a little lime green doodle bug for $60. The engine was blown because they forgot to check the oil, but the rest of it was mint. Bought a $99 Harbor Freight motor, and bolted it on in about 20 minutes. |
