Though it looks NOTHING like one, and I dont know where the hell people get the notion that the 6 series is like a coupe of the 5 series, but yea........the 6 series is a coupe version of the 5 series
IMO, the 6 series is....just that. THE 6 series, and thats all it is....it's its own model. And to me, it doesn't look like, seem like, or need to be based off of or similar to the "coupe version" of anything else but itself. If you want a coupe then you buy one, and if you want a sedan, you buy one. You want a 5,6, or 7?......then you buy one. I understand that you fellas are talking about the status
level and size of the cars in relation to what they compare with. Like for example, since the 6 series is so big, lux, and expensive....it's similar to buying a coupe version of a 7 series. So for someone who doesn't want the size of a 7 series, nor a sedan, but still wants the upper level BMW status and luxury they buy a 6 series?
