The interest waned once a 45k civic became 65-70k. Cool car, but it's not even 50k cool. At that price, the new Z or Supra that gets my money. At 60-70k, the 340i, IS500, or RS3, or even CT4 BW are better buys.
IS 500s are starting to pop up again. My dealer is trying to find one in a color I want. If that doesn't work out, RS3 at MSRP for me.
Doesn't really matter how fast/capable the new CTR is, after my F80 M3, I realized if the exhaust sounds like dogshit, I won't keep it long. The CTR might be the worst sounding turbo 4 I've heard in a sports sedan. Which at 45k maybe that's acceptable, but sure as hell not at 65+. Just my 2 cents.
