I wanted an ultra-wide and looked at buying their 11mm. It seems like a decent lens for the price. Ultimately I ended up buying 14-24 for Nikon F because it is 2.8 and it was on sale and since those are most of the bodies that I have. For a review of the Irix try

One thing to consider is if you will want to use filters. I forget which Irix it is but I seem to remember one of them would take rear gel filters.
