My tip it to use a corded hi speed drill for the metal brake pedal. I was getting nowhere with an 18v portable.
Also, as others have said, be careful when attaching the nuts behind the brake pedal as the metal shards from drilling will cut your fingers if you don't clean them up with a file first.
