I read some rumors that new 1 series f40 will be selling along with "old" f20 2.0 lci so BMW tests if they did the right thing with moving to FWD platform. This chould also be the reason why they made another facelift with noticable interior changes in 7th year of production. Shadow package is actually nothing special as BMW always makes some exclusive package at the end of lifetime. But as I know there never was interior upgrade with new dashboard.
So my question is: Can you tell us anything about end of production for f20? Is it July 2019 or might be later date?
For us Europeans that information would be very useful as 1 series is one of the most popular BMW models.. Affordable, fun and unique.
