terrible timing of the release imo.
either cut him at the start of FA, or after the draft. Cutting him now signals to the rest of the league that the Cowboys are going after a certain WR in the draft, and if another team wants him, they need to pick him before #19. I dont see it working out that they get their guy at 19. They will either need to move up now, or settle for someone else.
