Teens Hurt in Prom Night Crash, Alcohol and Racing Possible Factors
GARDEN GROVE, CA -- Four teens were hurt in a car accident in Garden Grove early Sunday after the Marina High School prom, and authorities say alcohol or street racing may have been a factor. The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. at West Street and Reva Lane, near the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, where the prom was held.
The 18-year-old driver of the vehicle lost control after swerving to avoid another car and crashed into a parked truck.
The four teens inside the vehicle were taken to UCI Medical Center. Their injuries were described as minor.
