I recall you also mentioning the B58 model goes away too. This will leave just the one model (in the US), albeit perhaps with 300hp+ by then (maybe even branded M235i or M240i, who knows) and the M2.

Yeah, G43 is not where I would expect to see it at this time, so my best guess it's dead.
Model lineup for G42 is just too early to predict. Give it another 6 months or so.
