I recall you also mentioning the B58 model goes away too. This will leave just the one model (in the US), albeit perhaps with 300hp+ by then (maybe even branded M235i or M240i, who knows) and the M2.

As the highest tuned B48 cars all going to be badged 35i (so far only the X2) you would think that the same tune on the B48 in the G42 would also be called 35i.
A lot of people talk about the superior balance and lighter feel of the 228i/230i, as such I think that a B48 with 225kw in G42 badged as M235i could work quite well.
