That's where the sensor
was positioned on the earlier models with Dynamic Park Assistant fitted (i.e. automatic parking). Did they shift this sensor on the LCI? If not, then that might be the reason why the fender trim hasn't been removed as the DPA would need to be completely recalibrated.
