You have to determine your own situation. If you can continue to live with your parents and you're okay with it, use it as an opportunity to save. IMO it's better to buy a house or condo so you can at least get some equity compared to renting which you never see that money again. Maybe in the coming years the market will settle down and by then you'll have saved enough for a nice down payment and a security blanket for the inevitables that follow.

Be patient, but have a plan and try to stick to it.
