BMW recently celebrated a 30 year anniversary event for the E36 M3 GT Edition by inviting several of them to the Munich HQ and Group Classic for a celebration.

The BMW M3 GT, a limited-edition model produced in 1994, was created as a racing homologation special for Europe. Only 356 units were produced, all in left-hand drive for mainland Europe, with the UK receiving a special GT trim limited to 50 cars featuring only cosmetic upgrades. The M3 GT was exclusively available in “British Racing Green” and featured enhancements such as larger camshafts, a higher compression ratio, and aerodynamic modifications to improve performance .
