I have never liked the idea of the full amount direct debit.
I also don't like mobile phone app banking.
The CC company have sent a phone txt message stating the payment is overdue, and I can pay by calling 'this number'.
The irony is, I can't stop the original payment which will be paid on Tuesday.
If I pay now, I'll be £1k+ in credit on Tuesday!

Yes, the due date is always Mon - Fri, never a weekend.
It's just coincidence it happens to be this month on Friday 29th, which is a bank holiday.
