The first Canadian Grand Prix I attended had Mario Andretti and James Hunt racing for the lead.
They were lapping the field and Hunt's teammate accidentally punted Hunt off the track and out of the race.
What ensued was Hunt running out on the track, shaking his fist at his teammate, having a track official drag him off the track, and having Hunt punch the racing official, only to pick him up off the ground and apologize seconds later.
Hunt probably had a cigarette on his way back to the pits.
There was some unknown new Canadian racer that started for Ferrari that day. I think his name was Newtown, or something like that.
A Canadian owned car won the race that day, Driven by Jody Scheckter.
