I read many Japanese katakana and Kanji characters but I will not understand completely. The Jap mags attracted me because of the high quality photos and also they compare many (latest) cars (many European cars) side by side and provide very detailed performance data. Levolant mag has a very good editorship with good mix of photos, tests and advertisement
