One of the problems is that anyone with a lick of intelligence doesn't want to be president.
Seems the main requirement for running for president is an ego the size of Texas. I about became a firearm death statistic last night because i left the TV on a network channel after MNF. Almost had to shoot myself listening to 45 seconds snippets from their campaigns.
I used to say that i'll vote for anyone who isn't a politician. But i'm not so sure about that these days. I do feel that we need a stronger front person than what we've had for the last 8 years. And history has shown that sometimes an unpopular person can be the right leader at the right time to get things done.
I just don't know who that is.
